Who: Registered Scouts and Scouters

What: Troop Planning Campout

When: March 28-30, 2008

Where: Stearns Scout Camp (near St Cloud)

Why: To work on Team Building and plan for the future.

Cost: None

Departure: Be at Otter Lake School on Friday, March 28^th at 6:30pm. Eat supper before arriving.

Returning: Sunday around Noon. Scouts will be dropped off at their homes.

Signup: Signup sheet will be at the troop meetings. Space is limited.

We will be staying in the Diamond Lake Lodge at Stearns Scout Camp.

During this campout we will be working on many things:

Leadership: What is a leader, conflict resolution, the patrol method

Team Building: Learning to work together.

Planning: What should we do for campouts and in troop meeting for the remainder of the year?

Scouts should bring:

Duffel Sleeping Bag Flashlight

Rain Gear Pocket Knife Change of clothes

Scout shirt Scout Handbook Boots

Gloves/Mittens Warm coat Spare socks

Sweater/sweatshirt Personal Hygiene (soap, toothbrush, towel, etc)

We will be sleeping indoors so a standard weight sleeping bag will be more than adequate.

Dress for the weather. Some of the activities will be outdoors.
